As "the" food holiday, Thanksgiving can be tricky for families with vegans, vegetarians or food allergies. Passionate home cook Emily Florentino is adept at developing plant-based recipes that are sure to please the pickiest of eaters. In this demo class, you'll sample plant-based Thanksgiving favorites and leave with the recipes to bring them to your holiday table.

About the Instructor: Emily Florentino has been cooking and sharing her plant-based recipes for nearly 15 years. A researcher by nature - she earned a Ph.D. in the History of Art from Yale University in 2004 - she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about nutrition and health. She has a particular interest in bringing children into the kitchen, and teaching them everything from root to stem.
